Choose a portrait.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>At the end of September, we were able to try out the roleplay and simulation game for the second time in an improved version during a training for instructors on the Dutch island of Ameland. In the next weeks, we will now fix the last few errors and complete the design and then the English-language basic version (European edition) will be finished. At the same time, with our partner organizations in the Netherlands, Italy and Romania, we are getting down to work and working out the national versions of the game in the respective national languages and with regional specificity.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">But what is Minosia Labyrinth?<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1292\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\" style=\"max-width: 300px\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1292 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/solarev.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_7938-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/solarev.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_7938-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/solarev.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_7938-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/solarev.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_7938-425x239.jpg 425w, https:\/\/solarev.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_7938.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Contact with state authorities determines the path of many migrants.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\"><em>Minosia Labyrinth<\/em> deals with the topic of migration and inclusion.<\/span> <span class=\"\" title=\"\">During the game, players slip into the roles of migrants, but also of institutional and social actors in and around our fictitious arrival country &#8220;Minosia&#8221;.<\/span> <span title=\"\">There are many rules to follow.<\/span> <span class=\"\" title=\"\">Forms, documents, laws as well as the search for home and work mark the way of the newcomers and provide challenges on all sides.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"\">And why Minosia Labyrinth?<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1293\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\" style=\"max-width: 300px\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1293 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/solarev.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_7940-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/solarev.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_7940-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/solarev.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_7940-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/solarev.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_7940-425x239.jpg 425w, https:\/\/solarev.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_7940.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sometimes conflicts end up in court.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">The name of our game goes back to the ancient Greek<a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Minos\"> legend of Minos<\/a>.<\/span> <span class=\"\" title=\"\">During the development of our game, the image of a maze through which migrants have to find successfully their way became more and more clear.<\/span> <span class=\"\" title=\"\">At the same time, the individual can hardly overlook the system in which they are moving.<\/span> <span class=\"\" title=\"\">Often they are on the help of others, running around in circles or long time failing to come out of a dead end.<\/span> <span class=\"\" title=\"\">It takes a &#8220;common thread&#8221; to understand what migration in and for our societies means and what successful steps can be for inclusion.<\/span> <span class=\"\" title=\"\">Minosia Labyrinth seeks to increase empathy, understanding and self-reflection &#8211;
